Procedure timers

Each stage beeps + vibrates when the time is up.

① Let-by test  (1 min)

1:00

Pressure must hold steady — any rise indicates let-by.

② Stabilisation  (1 min)

1:00

Allow temperature/pressure to settle before reading.

③ Tightness test  (3 min — Note initial reading at start)

3:00

Note the pressure at start, then again when the alarm sounds — the difference is the measured drop entered above.

Result

UP/1B Ed 4 short test: 1-min stabilisation + 2-min test. MPPD shown is for typical small-bore domestic; larger/commercial installations require full UP/1 procedure with calculated MPPD.
